Established in memory of Aaron Kaufman, West Holmes Local School District Superintendent. This scholarship will create a lasting legacy to support West Holmes students in need. Students demonstrating the following characteristics that Aaron displayed will be considered for this scholarship: School spirit, athleticism, drive, compassion, leadership, encouragement, and determination. All West Holmes High School seniors who apply with the Holmes County Education Foundation will be considered for this scholarship. No separate application is required.

Those eligible for this scholarship must be a graduating senior of Hiland, West Holmes, Waynedale, or Triway High School and be pursuing an associate's or bachelor's undergraduate degree at an accredited trade school, college or university within the state of Ohio. Preference will be given to those demonstrating financial need. The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher and be active in extracurricular activities and/or have been employed while in high school.

Established in 2006 by the family and friends of the late Blair Slutz to honor Blair's commitment to students and their pursuit of education. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to graduating seniors from Hiland, Waynedale or West Holmes High School with Holmes County residency that are pursuing the field of education at a higher institution. Blair's thirty year career in education included teaching, coaching, and administration.

Campbell Family Scholarship

Established by Matt and Mindi Campbell to assist West Holmes graduating seniors of high achievement. This merit-based scholarship will be awarded annually to a student with high potential for success in their career. To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be a graduating senior of West Holmes High School, hold a 3.25 GPA or higher and have achieved an ACT composite score of 22 or higher.
