Julius & Helen Grassbaugh Scholarship

Established in 2014

Established by the family of the late couple. The scholarship was created to honor two of Julius and Helen's most important values in life, agriculture and education. They were both life-time residents of Holmes County. The scholarship will be awarded to a West Holmes High School graduate demonstrating financial need, pursuing studies related to agriculture, who has a good record of behavior and ranks in the top half of their class.

In memory of Keith, a former West Holmes High School vocational agriculture teacher. Awarded to a Holmes County graduating senior majoring in agriculture, an agricultural related program, or who has completed four years of high school Agricultural Education (FFA).

Established to assist Holmes County trade school, undergraduate, or graduate students who are residents of the West Holmes district. Applicants must have been home schooled or graduated from West Holmes High School with at lest a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicants living in the Clark, Glenmont, or Killbuck areas with demonstrated financial need.

In honor of the Virgil & Ruth Shreiner family. The Killbuck Area Scholarship is need-based and will be awarded to a graduating high school senior pursuing post-secondary education that has attended either Killbuck Elementary School or Clark Elementary School.

Leguillon Family Scholarship

Established in 2019

Established by Jody Noiron in memory of her mother, Joan Leguillon Nelms, and grandparents, Brady and Lena Leguillon. Those eligible for this scholarship must be a Holmes County, Ohio student pursuing the medical field, engineering, education, technology, environment, or science. Preference will be given to those students from Killbuck, Ohio.
