Preference given to those students attending Ashland University, her alma mater.

Those eligible for this scholarship must be a Holmes County resident or attend a Holmes County High School. Preference will be given to those pursuing an area of study in Hospitality or a related course of study. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be active in community service activities.

Preference will be given to those with demonstrated financial need and those attending OSU. Extracurricular activities - especially 4-H, FFA, and FCCLA - a job history, and/or community service will also be considered.

Established by Dr. John and Sandra Gindlesberger. Applicant must be a Holmes County, Ohio resident and graduating senior of West Holmes High School pursuing a liberal arts undergraduate degree as an on-campus student at one of Ohio's public universities. The student must have had a demonstrated interest in the arts plus a record of community service and/or part-time employment. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 is required. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need.
